About Cold Chain Management Platform (CCMP)

CleverGraft's "Cold Chain Management Platform" is our investment in helping secure food security and protecting the reputations of organizations operating in the food chain.

Our objective is to contribute to the confidence people can have in the integrity and security of the food chain.

Our current solution (CCMP):

  • Improves the quality and availability of cold room temperature performance data by using technology to collect, analyze and store it,
  • Accelerates the implementation of solutions by communicating cold room issues or potential issues, identified by analytics, to impacted operators and managers sooner, and
  • Improves the confidence in the food chain by making temperature performance data available, in dashboards and reports, for review and analysis by relevant reviewers and other stakeholders in a secure manner.

Better Measurement and Communication
Technology

Using modern technologies and methods better temperature measure is done more often. Where issues are identified they are sent to the right people immediately.

The modern technologies and methods used include the following:

  • Digital temperature sensors : digital sensors, from world class manufactures used across the globe by operators in the food chain and other crucial industries, are used to collect the cold room temperature data.
  • Internet-of-Things : devices at the cold rooms collecting and communicating temperature data from digital probes inserted into the cold rooms
  • WiFi and Mobile Networks : communication links used to send the digital temperature data to a secure application. The networks are also used to communicate issues and status to the right people in your organization.
  • Cloud Computing : digital data temperature is stored and processed in secure world class cloud data centers.
  • Data and Analytics : modern analysis methods are used to evaluate temperature data to identify if there are issues or potential issues.
Quick and Accurate Analysis
Analytics

As cold room digital temperature readings are received by the application they are analyzed immediately by automated processes. Based on the analysis results the app executes the required automated tasks.

Analysis and actions include:

  • Limit Checks : cold rooms have different requirements depending on what is stored in them. Each cold rooms requirements are stored on CCMP. When the temperatures for a specific cold room are received they are checked against that cold room's requirements.
  • Issue Communication: different cold rooms can have different operators, managers and maintenance teams. CCMP will communicate any issues identified during analysis to the right operator, manager or maintenance teams as soon as it is identified. The gives your team members more time to address the issue before the contents of the cold room is at-risk.
Data and Reports to document Compliance
Data Security and Accessibility

People have more trust in a system when there is data about the system that can be reviewed i.e. proof. For the proof to be trusted people need to know if has not been tampered with. They also need to be comfortable the proof is only accessible by people with the right to see it.

CCMP has the following features:

  • Secure Data Storage : cold room temperature requirements and actual temperature measurements are stored in secure data centers and databases operated by world class service providers. These same providers secure data and data centers for governments and large corporations.
  • Role Based Access Control (RBAC): Each user on CCMP is given roles based on permissions provided by your organization. These roles determine what the user can do on the CCMP app. If their roles don't given them right to do something on the app, they can't. Any changes to a users assigned roles has to be authorized by the your organization. The roles assigned to users are scanned regularly by CCMP for any changes that are not approved by you.
  • Reports: Cold temperature data is inserted into reports daily for each cold room monitored. These reports are stored securely and only accessible by users with relevant role. These reports can be provided to inspectors and reviewers as evidence of how a cold room's temperatures have been maintained over the specific review period. The controls for collecting, analyzing and storing these reports can be provided to demonstrate the integrity of the temperature data and management process.
